Fourteen plus years as a Virginia Prosecutor, representing the citizens of the Commonwealth, prosecuting all manner of criminal trials before all Virginia Courts, including homicides, violent crimes, drug possession and sale, juvenile and elderly abuse, and other criminal matters.
Eight years as an elected Circuit Court Clerk in Virginia, which included serving as the Quasi-Judicial Probate Judge in certifying, qualifying, and supervising the administration of Wills, Trusts, and Estates.
Six plus years in the General Practice of Law, to include a broad range and number of Civil and Criminal Trials before all Virginia Courts, Bankruptcy and Debtor Relief, Wills and Estates Planning and Administration, Divorce and Domestic Relations, Real Estate, Adoption, Juvenile and Elderly Law, Bankruptcy, Landlord-Tenant, Contracts and Business Law, and Personal Injury.
Six plus years as the Public Service Manager of the Loudoun County Circuit Court Clerk's Office, assisting customers and Loudoun County constituents with a broad variety of legal matters that come before the Clerk's Office and the Court.
Sixteen plus years as an Adjunct Professor in the Virginia Community College System, teaching Paralegals and Legal Assistants; courses of instruction include Business Law, Banking Law, Wills and Estates, and Civil and Criminal Trial Preparation and Procedure.
Graduated from the University of Virginia 1974. Graduated from the Marshall Wythe School of Law at Willam and Mary in 1977. Admitted to the Virginia State Bar in 1977.
